- Each substantial, 1½"-thick glass shade is carved from a block of crystal that takes up to 25 days to make; the temperature of the molten glass as it cools is precisely measured and monitored to prevent hairline fractures or cracking
- The glass is then shaped by hand and lathe-turned at high speeds in a multi-day process; cutting speed and temperature are carefully monitored to maintain the integrity of the glass
- The crystal form is finished with wet-stone grinding and polished by hand over several days
- Frame is handcrafted from solid brass
- Blown glass may reveal the artisan's touch in the form of small air bubbles or a slightly asymmetrical form. These are typical of a one-of-a-kind work of art.

What is the Lead Time
We offer free shipping on all orders. Estimated Delivery = Processing Time + Transit Time.
