- Each substantial 1½"-thick glass shade is carved from a block of crystal, shaped by hand and lathe-turned over several days, finished by wet-stone grinding and hand polishing
- The glass is then shaped by hand and lathe-turned at high speeds in a multi-day process; cutting speed and temperature are carefully monitored to maintain the integrity of the glass
- The crystal form is finished with wet-stone grinding and polished by hand over several days
- Frame and backplate are handcrafted from solid brass
- Rated for one LED 6.5 max. or incandescent 40W max. E12 candelabra bulb
